Be Careful When Using Third Party Email/Telephone Databases

Lately, many businesses/companies are using third party customer databases. Many potential customers are also very unhappy with unsolicited emails, telephone calls and SMS.

We should be careful when using such third party databases because we do not know how these third parties obtained these databases. To make matter worse, these databases may not be legally obtained.

In contrast, some of our members practice “opt-in” using Yahoo Groups. Members join us because they want to receive information from us. Besides, anyone who unsubscribes from Yahoo Group is assured that they will be removed.
